She That I Loved

I used to think she was invincible, used to think she was stronger than death.

I used to think that her smiles could soften any face, even the face of death.

I used to think that her laughter could drive away evil and agents of darkness, Used to think that the love that radiates from her heart could keep it beating forever.

I used to think that her sweet nature could earn her pity from the murderer,, that her beauty will never fade and that her shapely body could distract the envoys of death.

I guess i have been wrong all along.
If she couldn’t defeat the strength of death,
If she couldn’t distract the messenger of death nor convert the agents of gloom, i believe no one else could.

She loved life and fought very hard to live,
It pains me that she had to leave.
I made her so many promises, unfortunately i couldn’t make her stay and wait for me.

Her voice was like a song in my ears,
Her laughter lifted my spirit,
Her positive attitude to life was infectious,
There was no dull moment in her life at all!!!!!.
God!!!…I have so much to say.
Please God, give us your peace, we need it badly!!!!
