Are you unmotivated?
Do you feel like you are not making progress?
Or that everyone else is doing better than you?
Well, we all have our moments of self doubt and lack of the zeal to do stuff.
The difference between fighters and quitters is that fighters get up right after they fall while quitters give up.
Here are a few things that will help you get up again, try again and avoid giving up.
- Remember that failure is not always a bad thing. You couldn’t fail if you didn’t try. At least, you tried. Remember too that the most successful people in the world today are usually people who failed many times but never gave up trying.
- Do something different. Sometimes, lack of motivation comes when our life becomes a boring routine. So, do something exciting: read a new book, do volunteer work or community service. Just get up and do something out of your normal routine. Sometimes, that’s all you need to get your groove back on.
- Reach out. Avoid trying to do it alone. We all need our support group so, reach out to people who genuinely care about you, people who want you to succeed. It can be family or friends or even a co worker. Don’t try to be a super-man. Allow them to cheer you up and cheer you on.
These are just but a few. I’m sure you have a lot more to add. Tell us what helped you get back up. Who knows, someone else might benefit from your experience.
Let’s hear from you friends
