A Tribute To All Mothers!

A greeting to all you mothers; The happily married, the unhappily married, the separated, divorced, single and widowed.

The loved and cherished, the hated and despised, the rich and comfortable, the poor and struggling, the educated and elite, the illiterate, the strong, the weak, the very healthy and the sickly too; all mothers in their own unique ways!

I tip my hat to you all because I am a mother too.

I praise you all for all you have been through and are still going through. The natural birth mothers, the Caesarians, the adoptive mums, the serogates; whatever way you became a mother, you have my respect.

Did you have your child in your teens, your 20s, 30s, 40s, 50s or post menopause, you are still a mum and you have my adoration.

Was your’s a precious pregnancy or an unwanted one, you still are a mother. We – all mothers, have one thing in common; we know the joys, the pains, the gains and the losses of motherhood.

Whether you live in America, Britain, Nigeria or Bangladesh, I still hail you! Whether you live in a mansion, a one bedroom apartment, on the street or under the bridge, you are a mother and you have my respect!

Do you have a loving husband, a boyfriend, a trusted girlfriend, a benevolent relation, your mum or dad, the government or nobody at all for support, you are still appreciated.

Everywhere, in all ages, in different social and educational backgrounds, and in diverse cultures, the role of the mother remains unchanged. Mothers are mothers everywhere and anytime and they deserve some appreciation.

Watch out for more as I embark on this journey to explore the joys and pains of motherhood.

Good day palls!!!
